Kasey's dance career began at a studio in Champlin, Minnesota. Kasey attended high school at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists where she fell in love with the world of dance. Her high school career exposed her to a wide variety of masterclasses while she trained at a studio competitively. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College and holds her bachelor's degree in dance. Kasey now has turned her focus to teaching as well as managing a competition dance program.
With over 23 years of dance experience and 15 years of teaching experience, Kasey opened Persevere Dance project in Fall 2021. This studio is dedicated to bringing the joy of dance to the lovely small town of Waverly, Minnesota.
Sara started dancing at the age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since. She grew up in the competitive dance world practicing and performing jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. She then went on to study dance further at University of Wisconsin Stevens Point for 4 years. In the dance program she was able to learn new areas of dance, perform in the shows, and choreograph her own pieces. Currently she teaches and choreographs at Persevere Dance Project and at her studio she owns, Revolution Dance Center.

It all started when I was 3 years old. After a karate class, I looked into the window where other girls were dancing, and I was like, "I kinda wanna try that". So I did. Now I've been dancing for about 18 years. I eventually progressed into competitive dance and did that for many years. I started teaching while I was still at that studio. I ended up being the Sugar Plum in the nutcracker and went on to perform with the Metropolitan Ballet. I've danced in two of their shows and plan to be in their fall show, Swan Lake.
Kiera began dancing at the age of 2 and hasn't stopped dancing since. She has trained in many styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, and Lyrical. This is Kiera's first year joining the teaching staff at Persevere and we look forward to having her for many more!
